Your metal mural consists of a sandwich kind of panel which includes a polyethene core is enclosed by two very thin aluminium layers. Together, the layers are only 3 mm thick, which is why the image steps into the foreground. Alu-Dibond Prints offer you the following advantages:

When ordering the Pixum Alu-Dibond you have the choice between two very different printing methods. These differ in production as well as in the result:

• Direct print: the ink is applied directly to the aluminium sheet. The ink rests on the material and does not penetrate inside. This finish creates a matt surface that is free of reflections and weatherproof. At the same time, the print gets an astonishing metallic shimmer that changes according to the angle of light. Direct printing is available in a very wide range of sizes up to larger formats such as 150×100 cm.
• Fine Art: here, your photo is first chemically developed on premium photo paper of the appropriate size. The surface has a noble sheen. This photo print is then applied to the Alu-Dibond panel so that the ready print resembles a real painting. The photo paper provides brilliant colours and an enormous depth of focus. However, only a handful of formats is available for this printing process.

How would you like to hang your mural on the wall? Pixum offers you a wide range of wall hangers for this material:

• screw sets: if you opt for the elegant screw system, we pre-drill your Alu-Dibond in the four corners so that you can hang it using the four decorative screws and dowels supplied with the delivery. The screws are partly visible from the front and provide a wall distance of about 20 mm. The shadow effect adds your Wall Art a gallery painting look.
• clamping set:your print is delivered with four clamping brackets, which you simply put over the edge of the wall picture in a completely flexible way. The big advantage: no holes in the print itself!

• Railing system: the railing system is not visible from the front and provides a wall distance of about 1 cm. It is already pre-mounted on your Wall Art and can easily be attached to the wall.
• Mirror plates: the mirror plates are the ideal solution for smaller Aluminium Prints. The self-adhesive reverse side of the sheets makes them very easy to mount on the back of the picture. Mounted the wall with screws or nails later, the print has a distance of 1 cm to the wall.
• No wall hangers ordered: if you have other plans with your Wall Art, you can of course also order it with no additional wall hangers.
