For your bookmark you will need:

  • Craft paper
  • Wiggly eyes
  • Handicraft utensils (scissors, glue, pencil)

How it's done:

  1. Choose the shape that best sums up your Photo Book. We've chosen tomatoes and carrots because we're making a recipe book. If you have a Photo Book full of your holiday memories, you could make an oyster or a palm tree-shaped bookmark.
  2. Using the pencil, draw the outline of the tomato on red craft paper. Draw the outline of the tomato stem.
  3. You can now cut around the outlines to create the shapes you will need for your book mark.
  4. Draw the mouth on the tomato and cut it out using the scissors. The opening can then be used to keep a page in your Photo Book open.
  5. Now cut out the tomato stalk you have cut out to the top of the tomato and attach the wiggly eyes using glue.
  6. Once the glue has dried the tomato can be used to keep your chosen page in the book.
  7. Repeat the steps above for the carrot or your other shape you have chosen.
