Protecting resources and protecting the environment are the declared objectives of our environmental policy.
Responsible management of our forests resources is now more important than ever. Which is why we want to step in and do our part. With the use of certified, environmentally friendly materials, i.e. materials that have been sustainably sourced without harming the world's forests, we answer to the wishes of our customers to help protect the environment.
The FSC® brand was launched in 1993 as a result of the Rio Earth Summit and is an international non-profit organisation with the goal of preserving this world's forests.
FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council® and sees itself as part of a global community that sets a globally unified standard for sustainable and responsible forest management.
The certification system of the FSC® promotes ecologically adapted, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world's forests. This ensures that the needs of today's generation can be met without compromising the needs of future generations.
An FSC® certification guarantees a complete traceability of the entire processing and trade chain from the forest to the customer. By purchasing FSC®-certified products, you contribute directly to sustainable, resource-conserving forestry and to the protection of our environment.
The rules of the FSC® require that the entire processing and trade chain must be completely certified from the forest to the wholesaler. Through the purchase of FSC® products, the certified company can directly contribute to the improvement of forests.
The suitability of a company for certification is reviewed annually by an independent certifier. The data collected during the operation test form the basis for the decision on the continuation of the certification. FSC® certificates are valid for a period of five years.
