Pixum respects your privacy. All collected data serves the improvement of our offer. Data protection and data security for customers and users have the highest priority for Pixum. The protection of your personal data during our entire business processes is therefore of particular concern to us.

In accordance with article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), this privacy statement explains which information and data is collected and how this information is used after you have visited our website and/or used the Pixum Online Photo Services. However, this declaration does not apply to websites of other companies that contain a link to this website or to which our website has provided links.

Collection and processing of personal data

When you visit our websites, our web servers temporarily store access data by default, i.e. the IP address of your access, the upload software (ActiveX, Flash, Java, etc.) used for the purpose of the order, the Session_ID to identify your connection session, as well as the date and time of your visit. This data will be deleted after the end of use, in accordance with statutory regulations. Beyond this, personal data is only stored if you voluntarily provide it to us, e.g. as part of a registration, an order and the associated order processing, a survey, a competition or an online application. You will be informed about the purpose of the data collection in the respective input and contact forms.

Your image data is automatically stored for 30 days in the online gallery accessible only to you for the purpose of creating photo products after uploading. In addition, Pixum provides you with an online album memory, which you can optionally use to store the image data over a longer period of time. You have the possibility to delete your image data from the online gallery or album memory or to make it accessible to third parties at your request at any time.

After your order has been completed and delivered, the image data will be kept in production for up to 12 weeks in order to be able to process any complaints or repeat orders. This data is then irretrievably deleted.

Contact with the customer service

Should you contact us per e-mail, via the contact form or on the phone, the personal data you provide us with will be processed. The data that you send us when you contact us will be used only to process your request, including the possibility of contacting you for this purpose.

In case of contact through the virtual assistant, we use third parties to collect information about you on our behalf.

Legal basis for the processing of these data is Art. 6 par. 1 letters b) and f) GDPR.

Data transmission via the Internet

Sensitive data, such as login, password, address data, information about your payment methods, credit card data or account data for direct debit are only transmitted in encrypted connections (HTTPS / SSL) and stored on security servers. The electronic payment process is handled by Computop.

To ensure the high reachability of our customer service we are supported by service providers outside the area of application of the EU GDPR. We have established contracts on the basis of EU standard contractual terms with the service providers and regularly ensure that our strict data protection requirements are fully complied with.

We use the information you provide to fulfill and process your order. Your data will be used in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations solely for the purpose associated with the respective collection and to safeguard our own legitimate business interests, in particular, the technical administration of the websites. We will only use this data for product-related surveys and marketing purposes if you have given us your prior consent.

Any consent given can be revoked at any time with immediate effect for future reference. Pixum hires external companies and individuals to carry out certain services, such as packaging, shipping and delivery of products. These service providers have access to personal information required to perform their services. However, they may only use this information for said purposes. We have obligated our service providers to treat the information in accordance with the relevant data protection laws and our privacy statements.

In order to process payments, we pass on the payment data required for this to the bank commissioned with the payment. If applicable we also pass on the payment data to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the payment service selected by you in the order process.

Personal data will only be transferred to government agencies within the framework of mandatory legal provisions. Your data will not be disclosed to private third parties without your express consent.

Our employees are obliged by us to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the relevant data protection regulations.

Payment

We process your payment information for the purpose of payment processing, e.g. when you purchase a product from Pixum. Depending on the payment method, we forward your payment information to third parties (e.g. credit card payment to your credit card provider). In order to carry out strong customer authentication in accordance with EU Directive 2015/2366 (PSD2), electronic payment procedures may forward order information (e.g. billing address, delivery address or customer number) to banks and credit card providers. The electronic payment process as well as the storage and processing of credit card information is handled by Computop Wirtschaftsinformatik GmbH. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 letter a), Art. 6 para. 1 letter b), GDPR as well as Art. 6 para. 1 letter f) GDPR.

E-mail: Collection, processing and use of your personal data

When registering for the newsletter, your e-mail address will be used for our own advertising purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time and without giving reasons. Within the scope of displaying the newsletter and calling up individual links from the newsletter, information is automatically collected and evaluated which helps Pixum to continuously improve your shopping experience and to design it individually and relevant for you. The user-related evaluation and profile creation access information such as confirmations of receipt and reading of e-mails clicks on links within an e-mail, date and time of the visit on the homepage as well as products viewed by you. This will happen without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. Use of cookies

Use of Kameleoon

This website uses the test and web analysis service Kameleoon. The software tool enables an analysis of user behavior based on user segmentation. Conversion measurement with the visitor action pixel from Facebook
